If you're about to have your gallbladder removed laparoscopically, known as a laparoscopic cholecystectomy, ask your surgeon how he will know if he inadvertantly clips the common bile duct.
In this case, a patient's bile duct was clipped off and the physician never recognized it. Watch the video to learn what happened to the patient.
